About the instructors: The instruction that is "hands-on" and "in-the-operating-room" is provided by two dermatologic surgeons. The course director is Jeffrey Klein, MD, the inventor of the Tumescent Technique. The other regular instructor is Norma Kassardjian, MD who has worked with Dr. Klein for more than six years. Both are board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and clinical faculty of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine. The Capistrano Surgery Center (CSC) has two operating rooms and is accredited by the American Association of Ambulatory Health Care AAAHC.
